Our dedicated team of professional and caring staff work hard to support the learning, success and well-being of all students. Secondary school is an exciting time, and we encourage our students to make the most of it; engaging fully in all of their classes, getting involved, asking questions, getting to know their teachers, meeting new friends, and making it a point to try new things.
One of our goals at Newmarket High School is to support our students’ social, emotional and academic growth. All of our staff are committed to supporting students in ways that affirm their identities and their experiences. This is reflected in our school motto, TOGETHER WE RISE • UNÀ CONSURGEMUS • ENSEMBLE, ON S’ÉLÈVE. Anchoring this motto is our PHOENIX acronym, which outlines the core skills, attitudes, and attributes we strive to embody every day:
